Development Squad

  • Ages 12-19
  • 4-6 week program
  • Athlete intake windows throughout the year
  • 3 sessions per week
  • Rowing, ergometer, bike, running (2-3 sessions per week)
  • Weight training (1-2 sessions per week)
  • Core work
  • Flexibility work
  • Boat classes determined by numbers (1X thru 8+)

The purpose of the Development Squad is to help transition potential competitive athletes from Summer Camp(SC) or Learn to ROW(LTR) over to being a C1 athlete. In the DS there is a greater work load, and time commitment on the athletes part and greater expectations from the coaching staff. The goal of the DS is to facilitate the transition of athletes from SC/LTR to C1.
