Brockville Rowing Club Athletes Advance to National-Level Competitions in August

The Brockville Rowing Club (BRC) is proud to announce that two of its female rowers are competing in prestigious national events this August.

Calla Webster, a recent graduate of Brockville Collegiate Institute (BCI), has accepted a scholarship to the University of Connecticut, where she will begin her studies in the fall.  Calla earned a spot on the Canadian CanAmEx Team and will be competing in Mexico City starting August 5th. Her selection to this team is a testament to her dedication and skill, and the BRC is excited to see her represent Canada on an international stage.

Isabella (Izzy) Howley, a former BRC rower and coxswain, is currently attending the University of British Columbia (UBC) and is a member of their Varsity Rowing Team. Izzy will serve as the coxswain for the U23 Women's 8+ team, competing at the Mega Worlds in St. Catharines, Ontario, from August 18th to 25th. Izzy's achievements continue to inspire the BRC community, and her participation in this major event is a significant accomplishment.

The BRC congratulates both athletes on these accomplishments!
