C. Douglas Marshall Trophy
This trophy recognizes BRC athletes of strong character. The award was donated to the club in 2008 following the passing of long-time Head Coach Douglas Marshall. Coach Marshall, affectionately nicknamed 'Humphrey', was Head Coach of the BRC for 42 years.

The recipients of the Humphrey are selected by the sitting coaching staff. The winner shall have his or her name engraved on the club's trophy and will receive an engraved keepsake.
The C. Douglas Marshall Trophy is presented to a BRC rower that exhibits the following qualities:
