Brockville Rowing Club
Adult On-Water Rowing
What is Adult Rowing?
Our Adult On-Water Rowing Program is designed to get adult rowers or "Masters" out on the beautiful St. Lawerence River to see the city of Brockville from a different perspective.
The main goal behind our Adult Rowing Program is to have fun with other people who enjoy their time spent rowing up and down the river. In some cases, Masters rowers will travel to events to compete for the Brockville Rowing Club.
This program runs during the warmer months of the year, typically May/June to September/October, weather depending. During the winter and cold months, the Adult Rowing program shifts indoors to our Spin Classes in order to stay connected to the movements of rowing.
All ages and experiences are welcome to join our Adult On-Water Rowing Program, however depending on the numbers of the group there may be certain times when rowing is not an option. All crews that go rowing are selected based on who can commit to being in the boat each session.
Quick FAQ's
About our Adult On-Water Rowing Program
Typically we try to row 2 - 3 times per week in the evenings or on a weekend morning.
Unfortunately, we haven't figured out a way to control the weather. When there is inclement weather, or the river is too rough to safely row on, we have the option to row indoors, instead.
You can join by sending us an email at info@brockvillerowingclub.com, expressing your interest to get involved with rowing. Depending on the time of year and amount of interest, we'll be able to direct you better.
