Brockville Rowing Club – Youth Summer Camp Online Registration Terms and Conditions

1. General Information

By completing the online registration and submitting payment for the Brockville Rowing Club (BRC) Youth Summer Camp, you (the “Registrant” or “Parent/Guardian” if registering a minor) agree to the following terms and conditions.

2. Registration and Payment

a) Registration is only confirmed once full payment has been received.

b) All payments must be made online through the designated payment portal. BRC does not accept cash or cheque payments for online registrations.

c) Spaces in the camp are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

3. Refund and Cancellation Policy

a) Cancellations by the Registrant

    •    Cancellations made at least 14 days before the camp start date are eligible for a 50% refund or the option to defer the registration to a future camp session (pending availability).

    •    Cancellations made less than 14 days before the camp start date are non-refundable.

    •    No refunds will be issued once the camp has started.

    •    For cancellation inquiries, please contact camps@brockvillerowingclub.com.

b) Cancellations by BRC

    •    BRC reserves the right to cancel a session due to insufficient enrollment, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, registrants will receive a full refund.

    •    If a session is canceled after it has started due to weather, unforeseen facility closures, or other external factors, refunds will not be issued for missed days.

4. Participant Eligibility and Conduct

a) All participants must meet the age and swimming requirements outlined in the camp details.

b) Parents/guardians must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or other relevant information during registration.

c) BRC reserves the right to remove any participant from the camp due to misconduct, safety concerns, or failure to follow instructions. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.

5. Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk

a) By registering, the Parent/Guardian acknowledges that rowing and water-based activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to, physical injury, drowning, and weather-related hazards.

b) The Registrant voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participation in the Youth Summer Camp and releases BRC, its coaches, staff, and volunteers from any liability for injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the camp.

c) A separate waiver form may be required to be signed before participation begins.

6. Photography and Media Consent

a) By registering, the Parent/Guardian consents to BRC taking photos or videos of camp participants for promotional and archival purposes.

b) If you do not wish for your child to be photographed, you must notify BRC in writing before the camp start date.

7. Privacy Policy

a) BRC will collect and store personal information solely for the purpose of camp administration.

b) BRC does not share personal data with third parties except as required for payment processing and emergency situations.

8. Agreement to Terms

By submitting payment and completing registration, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
